Enabling detailed logging in Confluence

If you're having problems with the Gliffy for Confluence, our support team may ask you to provide detailed Confluence DEBUG logging information and produce a Confluence Support Zip. Users with Confluence admin rights can temporarily enable detailed Gliffy logging within Confluence.

1. From the Confluence administration menu , click General configuration.

2. Log in with your Confluence admin credentials.

3. From the left menu, under Administration, click Logging and Profiling.

4. At the DEBBUG level, add a new Gliffy logging entry by adding com.gliffy.

For more information about Confluence logging, see https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/configuring-logging-181535215.html.

5. Reproduce the error that you are experiencing.

6. Generate a Confluence Support Zip file

For detailed information, see https://confluence.atlassian.com/support/create-a-support-zip-790796819.html.

7. Create a Gliffy support ticket and submit your Support Zip file, as described in Contacting support.

Tip: Once you generate your logging information, revert your logging to your normal level.
