Generate diagrams with AI

You can create a Gliffy diagram using AI.

To create diagrams from a natural language prompt, see Generate diagrams with the Gliffy Diagram agent in Rovo.

The feature is available for Gliffy Confluence Cloud.

  1. In a Gliffy diagram editor, select Create with AI in the left menu.


  2. Enter the diagram description, or select an example from the Explore Examples section.


  3. Select Create diagram.

    An editable Mermaid diagram is generated.

  4. Select the diagram, and then Convert to Gliffy.

  5. Select one of the options:

    1. Select Edit Diagram to edit the Mermaid diagram code.

    2. Select Finish Editing to convert the diagram to a Gliffy diagram.

Editing the diagram

  1. When selecting to Edit Diagram, edit the Mermaid diagram code. You can see the diagram updating in real time in the live preview.

  2. To go back to the diagram editor without converting the diagram to Gliffy, select Update Diagram.

  3. To convert the diagram to a Gliffy diagram, select Finish Editing. You will not be able to edit the diagram using Mermaid code.

The diagram is converted to a Gliffy diagram. You can edit the diagram as usual, adjusting the shapes and colors, but you cannot modify the code anymore.
