Creating a new diagram

You can create a new blank diagram or a diagram based on one of the many Gliffy templates. The type of diagram that you choose determines the shape libraries that are visible in the Gliffy editor. For example, if you start a blank wireframe diagram, the wireframe shapes appear by default in the editor.

1. Start a diagram (see Adding diagrams to a Confluence page).

2. In the Gliffy start screen, click Create a New Diagram.

Tip:   You can also import a diagram or search existing diagrams.

3. Select the type of diagram to create and click Create (or double-click).

Tip: To create a new diagram based on a template, under Templates, click a category you want and then double-click the template.
