Copying styles

You can copy a style from one object to another.

  1. Specify a style for a shape or connector. See:

  2. Select the styled object.

    To select an object, from the toolbar, click the pointer arrowhead icon and click the object. Or, click and drag around the entire object and release so that a blue bounding box appears . To select the entire diagram, from the Edit menu, click Select All (or press Ctrl+A on your keyboard).
  3. From the toolbar, click the Copy Style button. Your cursor changes to a paintbrush.

  4. Click the object to which you want to apply the style. The object inherits the style.

    To apply the style to multiple shapes, with your cursor, click and drag around the objects to which you want to apply the style. Once you release your mouse, the selected objects will inherit the style.
